About Our School
Riverdale School is a PreK-8th grade school located in Germantown, Tennessee, just east of the city limits of Memphis. Riverdale was originally constructed in 1969 and has undergone many additions through the years. Most recently a $12 million addition gave the school a dedicated space for our middle school students, a new gymnasium, STEM space, new choir and band rooms, and a modern art studio. Our current enrollment is near 1,200 students.
Our school fosters a culture of collaboration not only in the classroom, but also seeks to involve the whole school community. Parental involvement is essential to student success, and we highly encourage our parents to remain actively engaged in their child’s education. We work closely with our PTO to help provide supports for our school that enrich our students’ experiences here at Riverdale school.
