November 2024 -- Riverdale Elementary hosted The Art of Rescue Literacy and Art Family Night, supporting local humane societies and uniting the community. Seventh graders explored osmosis with a Naked Egg experiment, first graders enjoyed pumpkin activities, and Halloween-themed P.E. games added festive fun.

September 2024 - School Resource Officer Ryan Carter has retired after seven years at Riverdale, where he was a valued mentor and positive influence on students and staff. His departure is marked by heartfelt notes of appreciation from the community, highlighting his significant impact on school safety and morale.
