Elementary School

At the elementary school level, we provide a strong foundation in core subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, and science. In addition to these subjects, students are introduced to social studies, art, music, and physical education, providing a well-rounded education that encourages curiosity and creativity. Our primary goal is to nurture each child’s potential while creating an atmosphere of support and encouragement.

Middle School

As students transition into middle school, we offer an increasingly specialized curriculum designed to promote both academic rigor and independent learning. In subjects such as algebra, physical science, and history, students are challenged to think critically, analyze information, and develop advanced problem-solving skills. Middle school also introduces students to elective courses, including foreign languages, technology, and the arts, allowing them to explore their individual interests.

Dedicated Teachers

At Riverdale, our teachers use a hands-on, engaging approach to learning, ensuring that young students develop essential skills, including reading fluency, problem-solving, and critical thinking. On the middle school level, each of our Raiders get to work closely with their teachers to help build essential organizational and time management skills, preparing them for the academic challenges that lie ahead in high school.

Title 1 at Riverdale

Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Act is the largest federal program in K-12 education. The primary objective of Title I is to assist local education agencies in providing supplemental instructional services for students. To receive Title I funds, states and districts must establish academic standards, a system of assessments, teacher quality requirements, and continual improvement plans.
